What is different about a MizuTek Microwater Generator than a ordinary water filter?

The MizuTek Microwater family of generators use electrolysis to produce Alkali-ion and Acidic-ion water.

Water is supplied through a water faucet that supplies culinary water. Water flows from the faucet through a "diverter" to the Microwater unit. Once it arrives at the units it passes through a three stage purifying cartridge to remove bad odors and taste including chlorine. Optionally you may order a 0.1 micron ultra cartridge if you have safety concerns about your water. Next the water passes through the "electrolysis cell" where current is supplied to special "platinum coated titanium plates" separated by a patented  thin membrane that allows oxygen to form in the water on the side with positive plates and hydrogen  to form in the water on the side of the negative plates. At the same time the water is forced into "small water clusters."

You may check the two waters by collecting water from the delivery pipe or the gray hose. When Alkali-ion water is delivered through the delivery pipe, Acidic-ion water is available from the gray hose. Both waters are usable except when the Microwater unit is in cleaning mode. By placing a few drops of Aqua-Check in the water and comparing it with the chart, you can tell the pH of the water. Please remember not to drink water that is above pH 9.5.

This is an example of how "small water clusters" may appear. The larger groups represent "bulk water" the smaller represent clusters. While no one knows for sure haw it works, we do know that small clusters have the ability to transfer heart evenly when you cook. This is called conductivity. We also know that Microwater is what is also a "wetter water" or it has the ability to make flavors stronger and colors brighter in the drinks and food prepared with Microwater.  There is no evidence that small clusters can be made by adding minerals to water. It has only been created in nature in the top layer of water and through electrolysis.
