Dan Junker has a long and varied history of working in the natural healing fields, including being owner of one of the nation's top MSM companies Healthy Habits. He has worked as administrator of an off-shore clinic specializing in anti-aging, cleansing, and offering nutritional support for degenerative diseases. While most clinics were specializing in colon, liver and blood cleansing the medical doctor's with whom Dan worked focused on the lymphatic fluid which has four times the volume in the body as the blood. Dan and a team of doctor's began lymphatic research. After a review of Dr. Gasston Nasson's 714X research, which focused on turning the lymphatic fluid from a gel to a liquid via daily injections, Dan's medical team in the Dominican Republic began experimenting to see if lymphatic drainage massage would achieve similar results to the 714 injections. Dan's medical worked with a wide variety of electro-stimulation instruments before selecting the PHOTON SOUND BEAM invented by Ed Skilling. The choice of the PHOTON SOUND BEAM was based on the ease of training new practitioners, value of equipment as compared to cost, and the RESULTS THAT COULD BE ATTAINED in a relatively noninvasive research situation.

LE: One of the things that is exciting to my wife and me, Dan, is the use of the lymphatic massage, working with the Photon Sound Beam. We understand that this is a technique that you and a group of medical doctors developed in the Dominican Republic at a medical clinic. Can you talk about that?

JUNKER: Well, a number of years ago, I was the administrator of a well-known offshore hospital that did a tremendous amount of work with hyperbaric oxygen, chelation therapy and numerous nutritional therapies. What we noticed was, typically, when we went into clinics offshore, everyone would clean the colon, clean the liver and clean the blood. Most of the herbal formulae were geared toward this. What we found was that very few people were doing anything with the lymphatic system.

We started utilizing lymphatic drainage techniques and, as we utilized them, we found that we had a tremendous response. This was something that was so new to people that it made a big difference. In many types of cancer, for example breast cancer, what are we dealing with, according to the medical doctors at the offshore hospital, is a lymphatic system that has been overloaded with toxins. What they found is that we have so many things related in our lives to toxicity, even toxicity in the mind, and they lead to cancer. When we have toxicity of the mind, we also have toxicity of the body. When we detoxify the body, whether it's cleaning up our thoughts or our bodies, the body responds. As long as we give the body some basic building blocks to help it rebuild, we can see tremendous improvement.

LE: So, how did you and the doctors you wind up working with the Photon Sound Beam to develop the lymphatic massage technique? How did that happen?

JUNKER: What happened was that we had a number of different instruments that we looked at to do lymphatic drainage. Because we were a hospital, we had a virtually unlimited budget. We tried $20,000 instruments. We looked at instruments for $10,000, and we looked at instruments for $5000. What we eventually came up with was the Photon Sound Beam, because it was very cost-effective for the individual. We didn't have to break peoples' budget to get them to utilize good health. We found that it worked very effectively and was very simple. You didn't have to be a "rocket scientist" to utilize it, and there were some very simple techniques that you could utilize and get tremendous results.

LE: Okay. How did you and your medical team develop the particular lymphatic techniques using the Photon Sound Beam? Through trial and error?

JUNKER: There were some techniques we found were very effective and some, we found, were not very effective. So, basically, we worked, as you say, by trial and error. As we worked on individuals, we found which individuals responded most rapidly and which people detoxified the most quickly. Typically, what was found was that, for people who were extremely toxic, they had to start with short sessions and slowly build those up, because you can't clear up too many toxins in the body without adequately providing them a way out of the body. We worked on people slowly and developed techniques that were very effective so that we did not overload the system and stir up too much garbage in the body. Basically, we found that we could monitor their detoxification by the doctors looking at the cellular debris that is in the urine.

The doctors worked with a patients from all over the world. We were serving a worldwide clientele. Frequently, the doctors would see, for example, that people, who had a history of kidney problems, did not detoxify well. So, what the doctors found was that there could be nutritional support offered. For example, if someone had had kidney problems the doctors may give them a kidney glandular with a natural herbal diuretic that would cause the body to really flush out toxins.

The more things that the doctors learned, the more they could refine what they were doing. We found more of what we needed in working with the Photon Sound Beam. We found that this instrument was fairly portable. For example, if we had someone who had a problem while they were in their motel room, we could go to the motel room and utilize the Photon Sound Beam with its lightweight carrying case. And we didn't have a lot of problems with this instrument breaking down, as other instruments might.

The doctors also found that it was very essential to clean the lymphatic system instead of only cleaning the colon, liver and blood. There are so many types of lymphoma. There are so many types of problems. Now, some lymphatic drainage people say that you cannot utilize lymphatic drainage on someone who has a lymphoma. Specifically because of the way this instrument is designed, we are actually creating some ozone (and oxygen) within the blood. I believe some research is being done on this. When the doctors looked at the blood under a darkfield microscope before they did a lymphatic drainage session, then looked at the blood afterward, it was found the technology really knocked out bacteria and viruses. These are not medical claims, since we're not allowed to make medical claims, but I am only reporting what the doctors said they saw under the microscope!

LE: What we're talking about here is a "research situation" that was done offshore, where these types of things were apparently allowed. So, let's talk about what the research has shown in these experiments. Our readers are going to want to know examples of types of things that your medical team worked with in the Dominican Republic.

JUNKER: Okay. Let's go into some examples then. One of the medical team's first patients, had had a stroke. He had some severe problems and was actually about ready to go to a nursing home. His wife came along with him and she looked as though she were going to pop out of her skin. She was retaining a tremendous volume of water. Have you ever seen anyone whose skin looked like it was about ready to split open? She also had a wound on her ankle, where she had bruised it, which had never healed. She had had it for approximately five years. It had continued to get more ugly, and she was told there was nothing that could be done for this and it probably would never heal. She began to do lymphatic drainage.

LE: Using the Photon Sound Beam?

JUNKER: Right. We had a woman medical doctor, who actually utilized this instrument and massaged her for an hour. This medical doctor was very interested in doing research at the time, and she knew exactly what points to hit to trigger the dumping of toxins from the body. It was interesting. The lady did not really notice anything after the hour's session, other than maybe feeling a little upset like a lot of toxins had been stirred up. She was staying in a very nice resort hotel and went back to the hotel and noticed that she ended up urinating every hour all night long. That went on for two days. The other thing that she noticed was that her urine was tremendously cloudy. It was basically all the cellular debris that was being dumped out of the lymphatic system. You know how people glow when they are healthy - some people just pick up a healthy glow. After a few days, this lady had turned from looking like she was very sickly, to having skin with a brand new color to it, and she almost glowed. She actually dumped 25 pounds in three days, if you can believe that.

LE: How many times did she have the lymphatic massage? Did she do it just one time?

JUNKER: Well, she did it initially, then, she skipped the next day because she was still urinating every hour all the next day. Then, she did it every other day.

LE: For about 30 minutes or an hour?

JUNKER: Well, the doctors did probably 30 minutes. You could see that she was slowly going through a process of being totally depleted and not having any energy, and it was almost like there was a bigger charge in her batteries after every session. She was absolutely amazed. The other thing that the doctors noticed was that the seriously bruised ankle, which was probably about the size around of a softball and very dark blue, began to turn from dark blue to red. It also began to shrink in size. This was something her medical doctor had told her would never heal. So, she was very excited by this.

LE: What are some supporting types of things that you would recommend for people to do to support their bodies, in terms of general health, as they work with this technology?

JUNKER: Any time you're dealing with electricity, such as the body's electrical field, you want to make sure you have an adequate supply of minerals. We utilize minerals. There has been a lot of research over the years that has shown that a mineral that has been processed through a plant the body can readily utilize. Whereas, the mineral that is ground-up stone will just coat the body's "pipes" and, therefore, cause problems within the body. For example, in plumbing, you see a lot of minerals that build up in the pipes. Basically, we try to use a mineral that has been processed through a plant, because it has a different electrical spin, and the body can utilize it properly.

We , at Healthy Habits, like to work with a product called, "Trace Mineral Herbs." It has trace minerals and has herbs that are known to have a very deep root system, so that they bring a lot of trace minerals from the soil. We utilize those in our pills and find they increase the body's electrical field. For some people, it seems that, when we have the adequate amount of minerals, we can hold an electrical charge in the body more easily.

LE: Okay. What about some other things for general health maintenance. I know that you have studied quite extensively how to keep the body healthy. I know your company offers all kinds of different products. What are some things that you're really excited about these days?

JUNKER: Well, one of the products that we utilize in vast quantities is the methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). I know that sounds like a chemical, but it's a nutritional organic tree sulfur. Basically, sulfur is the building block. Anyone who has skin problems typically has a sulfur deficiency. Anyone who has joint or cartilage problems typically has a sulfur deficiency. The reason we utilize glucosamine and certain amino acids for joint problems is simply because they are very very high in sulfur content. There are three parts to the body that utilize a lot of sulfur. Typically, we find the MSM benefits and aids the skins' becoming very healthy. It also is very beneficial for the urinary tract. It is also extremely beneficial for the digestive tract. So, those three areas are areas where so many people have problems that the MSM is probably a product that most people will notice a tremendous improvement in their health, when they begin to utilize it. The thing about this product is that most people notice a difference within 48 hours of starting to take MSM.

It is also a very strong detoxifier. What we find is, if we don't detoxify the body, the body has a really hard time repairing. We all believe in recycling, but we don't want to recycle toxins within the body. We want to get those out of the body, and, so frequently, people are extremely toxic.

MSM is very beneficial in detoxifying or cleaning out the cardiovascular system. In fact, in one study, they found that people with diabetes had very few cardiovascular complications; even though they were taking insulin and having serious problems with diabetes, they didn't have the cardiovascular complications when the began to use MSM as a supplement. They also found that they needed less insulin and that their blood sugar was easy to maintain.

LE: That's interesting. In a research situation, when people utilize the lymphatic massage, using the PhotonSsound Beam technology, and then, they nurture themselves with trace minerals and with MSM and these kinds of things, it would seem like the body's immune system might become stronger. Is that your experience?

JUNKER: Absolutely. The other thing that probably people would notice even more is that their energy levels come up. Most people are suffering from abnormally low energy levels. A lot of it is that is due to toxins. When we begin to dump toxins out of the body and we provide basic nutritional support, the body is designed to repair itself. So frequently, typically, we see that anybody over the age of 50 is self-destructing. Basically, that tells us that they are not doing detoxification and are not giving their bodies basic building blocks.

One of the other things that we cannot fail to mention is that drinking lots of water is so important. If we are going to flush a lot of toxins out of the kidneys and through the bladder, we want to make sure that we drink lots of water - not just any water - we want to have a good pure quality or high-quality water. Of course, we know that high-quality water does not come out of the drinking tap in the city. We know that, typically, we have fluoride and chlorine in the water. We know that the chlorine will kill the healthy bacteria in the body. We know that the fluoride was used for mind control, and fluoride is also very detrimental to the thyroid. One of the top 10 prescribed drugs in America, today, is Synthroid, which is a synthetic thyroid medication.

LE: Okay.

JUNKER: Typically, when we get a pure water, we could eliminate a lot of problems that people have with thyroid with the healthy acidophilus-type bacteria that's in the body so it doesn't get destroyed. Along with drinking high amounts of water, we find that we are flushing a lot more toxins out of the body, and the lymphatic drainage works very well with peoples' drinking anywhere from one-half gallon to one gallon of water every day. A lot of people say, take your body weight, divide that in half, and drink that amount of water on a daily basis. If I were 250 pounds, I would divide that in half and should be drinking 125 ounces of good pure water on a daily basis.

LE: That's a lot of water. Is there anything you'd like to share?

JUNKER: Well, I think the one thing that we need to stress, and maybe highlight, is the fact that we were designed not to self-destruct but to self-repair. It is very apparent that people are self-destructing. Very few people are taught anything about detoxifying the body nowadays. Even when they do learn about detoxifying the body, 90% of the information is geared towards colonic cleansing, liver cleansing and blood cleansing. Lymphatic system cleansing has typically been like the red-headed stepchild and totally ignored.
